Born and raised in Kennesaw, Georgia, Kaitlyn is no stranger to the diverse and flourishing communities of Cobb County. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Kennesaw State University and experience in human resources and employee engagement, Kaitlyn hopes to bring a sense of mindfulness and humanity into the area of civic engagement throughout Cobb County.
In addition to her professional experience, Kaitlyn has also stayed an active member in the community with volunteer coaching for local middle schools and holding an executive position on the KSU Relay for Life team in college.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s of Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Adler University, where she hopes to develop her skills as a social justice practitioner within the organizational setting.
Outside of working and studying, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with family and friends outdoors, relaxing with some yoga, and listening to her favorite podcasts on NPR.
